Inside Line Promotions – LINDSAY, Okla. (March 28, 2017) – Harli White is heading to the desert this weekend for an ASCS Southwest Region doubleheader.

White will compete on Friday and Saturday at Southern New Mexico Speedway in Las Cruces, N.M., for the ASCS Southwest Sprint Car Shootout that pays $2,500 to win each night.

“We want to bring home the big check,” she said. “We need to be racing every weekend to get my experience level up and get me where I need to be to compete with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour. Going down there will get me more seat time before the next national show at Texas Motor Speedway (in Fort Worth, Texas, April 7-8), which is a big show.”

White has competed at Southern New Mexico Speedway in a 360ci winged sprint car, a 360 non-wing sprint car and a 305 winged sprint car.

“I’ve had my moments there with some good finishes,” she said. “I know the track. It’s just getting the car hooked up and me comfortable.”

White scored results of eighth and sixth, respectively, in 2013 during a 305 doubleheader. She also placed 21st that season in a 360 winged main event.

Her best 360 winged finish came the following season with a 13th-place result. White raced three times in a non-wing sprint car in 2015, when she picked up results of 11th, eighth and 11th, respectively.

Last weekend’s Park City Cup/Air Capital Shootout with the NCRA Series at 81 Speedway in Park City, Kan., was rained out along with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour event at Randolph County Raceway in Moberly, Mo.
