Inside Line Promotions – LINDSAY, Okla. (Jan. 8, 2018) – Harli White is focused on making the Chili Bowl Midget Nationals A Main for the first time in her career.

White will drive for Johnny Herrera Racing in a CatSpot sponsored midget during the 32nd edition of the marquee event, which is held inside the River Spirit Expo Center in Tulsa, Okla. Her preliminary night is slated for Wednesday with the event finale on Saturday.

“It’s the best opportunity, car, people to work with, that I’ve ever had,” she said. “It’s a huge opportunity for me. I’ve always said if I had just a little better car I could make it to the Saturday A Main. Now I have to live up to my expectations.”

White produced her career-best performance at the event in 2016 when she placed 10th in her preliminary night main event before making a B Main during the finale.

“People ask me my strategy,” she said. “For one, stay out of trouble. Two, you have to move forward in every race. Three, the draw is important. All the stars have to align, yet you have to be on your ‘A’ game. You have to be in the A Main on your qualifying night to have any sort of chance on Saturday so that’s the first focus.”

In addition to racing, White will participate in a variety of events. Her primary sponsor, CatSpot, will have a booth in the tradeshow and White will make appearances there. Follow her social media accounts for more information throughout the week.

“I’m super excited to be a part of what CatSpot stands for and what they offer,” she said. “I got to hang out with Tommy Thompson and his CatSpot team at the Tulsa Shootout to cheer them on. They are great people who are down to earth.”

White will also play in the Kick-It game on Wednesday morning and she has donated a drivers suit to be in a silent auction benefitting the Donnie Ray Crawford Legacy Foundation.

Additionally, she will have special event t-shirts, hoodies and hats for sale in the pit area next to her race car.
