Bryan Hulbert – LINDSAY, Okla. (June 12, 2020) Taking part in a trio of events with the Ollies Bargain Outlaw All-Star Circuit of Champions presented by Mobil 1, Harli White utilized the laps to test and tune her Life of Hope Ministries No. 17w.
“I didn’t go in expecting to run towards the front simply for the fact that we don’t have a 410, but with the series, we can run our Right Rear so we used it to get back into form and continue shaking the car down with different setups,” said White.
Making the A-Feature in all three attempts, White was overall pleased with the way things went, despite being down over 150 horsepower.
“It was nice not having any real pressure to where we could throw just about anything we wanted at the car and I feel like we learned a lot of what we can do. The only thing I was disappointed about all week was getting into a tractor tire last night. I completely misjudged and ran right into it.”
Overall, White’s best performance came at Southern Oklahoma Speedway where she placed 16th. Red Dirt Raceway on June 5 saw a 24th place finish with Lawton’s weather-delayed show on June 8 improving to a 19th place run.
Taking the remainder of the week off, White is scheduled to return to the track on Saturday, June 20 at Lawton Speedway with the American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Sooner Region presented by Smiley’s Racing Products.
The 2020 season marks the 13th year of racing for Harli White. Racing full time with the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network, Harli will also mix in several events throughout the country when not on the road.
